The Project

Job Searcher is a dynamic web application that leverages AI to streamline job searches. Users upload their resumes, and the system extracts key skills and keywords using advanced AI processing powered by Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash model. It then fetches relevant job listings and presents them in a visually engaging interface built with React, complete with pagination and interactive 3D backgrounds.

The Challenge

Building an intelligent resume parser that accurately extracts diverse skill sets across different resume formats while matching them to real-time job listings required careful AI prompt engineering and robust error handling. The interface needed to make complex AI output feel simple and actionable.

Our Solution

We developed a Node.js/Express backend with Multer for resume file handling and integrated Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash model for intelligent keyword extraction. The React frontend features Tailwind CSS styling, Framer Motion animations, and immersive 3D backgrounds powered by React Three Fiber and Drei. Lucide Icons provide clean visual elements throughout the interface.
